From Dan, Village Day 2

Hello friends and family. This blog update is being written by Dan Estep. Well not a whole lot of laborious work occurred on such a fine day as today, for Sunday is a day of rest here in Thailand. We woke up, ate breakfast, went to a waterfall for a lunch picnic, splashed around at the waterfall, then enjoyed cold showers at the hot springs, ate dinner, then went to bed. It was an exhausting day. The waterfall was a beautiful place to have lunch, which as always, was excellent and in excess. The water cascaded down the rock ledges and gathered at the bottom to make nice and cool water pools. Despite their slippery appearance, the rocks were actually easy to climb up even with water running down them. Since the weather was perfect many members of the group decided to get their feet, or whole bodies refreshed in the water. Smiles, laughs, and joy was in the air. It was also Som’s first time at the waterfall so we were all blessed that she and her daughter Rain could come. After the waterfall picnic, we headed on over to the hot springs to shower up. Even though the hot springs pools were hot, the shower water was quite chilly, but hey, a shower is a shower. Well, that pretty much sums up our day.

Hello Dan, my name is Dan! I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand; but I'm currenly sitting in your area of the world, Vancouver, Wa. My son and I are back here in the states, trying to share the vision that God has given us for working in CM. In case you have'nt noticed yet; along with everything Thai, there are lonely and searching people from literally, 6 of the 7 continents of the globe there in Chiang Mai. English can be used and God can be shared in literally a global evangelization manner all in CM. God bless you all, and keep your eyes open, you might find God using you to share Jesus with someone from Iceland, Austria, South Korea, Iran, Comoros, or Brazil! That's what Tepak Community Communications is all about. If you'd like to hear more about us, I'd like to come and share more with your church. When will you be heading back? I'm planning on staying in the area until early August, when we head to Salt Lake City.

Blessings,
Dan Callahan

Hello Mr. Callahan. Thank you so much for keeping up with our blog and investing in our trip. It has been such a wonderful experience but also an eye-opening one. I would very much like to meet you and hear more about your organization. I will be at church on Sunday July 20th so I would love to meet you. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.

With love,
Dan Estep

Dan,

It's sounds like the trip your family is on is amazingly rewarding. I've enjoyed reading about the whole trip.
